The search is on for 'would be' artists who want to turn their creative scientific flair into a dynamic eye catching electronic Christmas card for STFC.

The first STFC e Christmas card competition is open to school children within the 11-16 age group across the UK.

The competition provides students, who have an interest in the STFC science areas, the opportunity to illustrate their enthusiasm and creative flair.

There will be two categories for entries, one for 11-14 year olds and one for 14-16 year olds.

The prize

By entering this competition you could win a trip to La Palma in the Canary Islands and an iPod shuffle.

Closing date

Due to requests for additional time to finish off projects, the e-card competition has been extended by 2 weeks and will therefore now close on 17th November 2008.
